Cookie policy
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use cookies from Microsoft Clarity, an analytics tool, to understand how people use HostelGuys.
What Clarity records
Pages you visit, and how you click, tap, scroll and move around them
Your device type, browser, screen size and approximate location based on your IP address
Recordings of your visit that show these interactions. Text you type into forms is hidden from the recordings.
Why we use it
We use this information to see which parts of the site work and which don't, to improve HostelGuys, and for our own marketing, such as understanding which pages bring students to us.
Who gets the data
We use this data only for HostelGuys. We don't sell it, and we don't share it with other third parties for their own use. Microsoft collects and processes it to run Clarity for us, as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
